Biosketch

Prof. S. Li received his Ph.D. degree in Nanomedicine from the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology and Sun Yat-Sen University in 2014. Then, he spent four years (2014-2018) in a postdoctoral appointment at the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the University of Massachusetts Medical School, and Houston Methodist Research Institute of Cornell University. In 2018-2021, Prof. S. Li joined the City University of Hong Kong as a Senior Research Associate and group leader in the Department of Chemistry. He has co-authored 90 papers with over 3600 times of citations (H-Index 34) and 3 ESI Highly Cited Papers (ESI 1%). He is a Young Editorial Board Member for Chinese Chemical Letters.

 

Research Interests

q  Photoactive Drug and Probe: NIR-activated phototherapy (including photothermal therapy, photodynamic therapy, etc.) and bioimaging of cancer and microbes;

q  Drug Delivery and Nanomedicine: Self-Delivery, Supramolecular Drug, and Active Prodrug for Advanced treatments of the serious disease include cancer, infection, etc;

q  X-medical device: Personalized Medicine, Manipulative Drug Administration, and Intelligent Medical Equipment
